Gold Coast-born, Bill joined the firm in 1980 and became a partner in 1991. Bill has a wealth of experience acquired over more than 30 years solving the full range and complexities of legal problems both in and out of Court.

 

Bill combines pragmatism, direct advice with strong advocacy to deliver successful outcomes, in and out of Court.

Bill is admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia, Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Northern Territory, Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland (former).

 

He is a Queensland Law Society Personal Injury Law Accredited Specialist. Bill is a Member of the Queensland Law Society and Gold Coast Law Association.

Bill is heavily engaged in the community and undertakes a wide of pro bono and community work including as the Honorary Solicitor, life member and committee member to Burleigh Bears RLFC, former Treasurer and Honorary Solicitor to Ex-Prisoners of War Association Gold Coast and District Branch, Honorary Solicitor Gold Coast Legacy Club Inc, Honorary Solicitor Currumbin Valley Riding for the Disabled, Honorary Member and Solicitor for the Gold Coast Bowls and Community Club Inc.

 

He undertook the pro bono incorporation of the Burleigh Bears RLFC, Burleigh Cricket Club, Nerang Allsports, Mudgeeraba Redbacks Junior Rugby League, Friday Warriors, and various other sporting clubs and associations. Bill is a long-term supporter/sponsor of School of St Jude, Life Education Australia, and pro bono Solicitor to multiple junior and senior sporting and community clubs.

Bill is a lifelong Gold Coast resident having considerable community contribution and an acute insight and understanding of the context, depth, and texture of his client’s needs. Bill has strong family values, is married, and has three children and several grandchildren.
