Chris Barron


Chris is a partner of Collas Moro Ross practicing predominantly in Court Work, Litigation, and Commercial law.

He is experienced in representation and dispute resolution as a solicitor advocate and regularly appears for clients in matters across various Courts and Tribunals.


Chris brings broad legal experience obtained across a range of positions in the public sector and private practice and strives to meet his client’s expectations to offer no-nonsense, practical, and commercial solutions when they come to him with their disputes or other legal issues.

Chris is also involved in the firm’s proud history of offering pro bono legal services in the local community and acts as the honorary solicitor for numerous community organisations. In 2020 he was recognised for his work in the bro bono space, as a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 (Pro Bono category).



Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law.

Chris is also currently admitted to candidature in the Master of Laws LLM (Applied Law) majoring in commercial litigation with the College of Law.
